A few things
to understand.
Ticket Sniper works within District's system — it just gets you there faster.
What is a ticket queue?
When lots of people try to buy tickets at the same time, District opens a virtual waiting room. You join a queue and wait your turn. Your position in the queue depends on when you joined — the earlier you join, the better your chances.
Ticket Sniper joins this queue for you the instant it opens, before most people have even clicked.
Does it guarantee me a ticket?
Ticket Sniper gets you into the queue as fast as possible — faster than any human can react. This gives you a much better position in the queue.
However, it cannot guarantee a ticket. If there are more people in the queue than there are tickets available, some people will miss out. Your odds are significantly better with Ticket Sniper than without it.
Which teams does it work for?
Only the five IPL teams that sell their home match tickets through District by Zomato — CSK, SRH, PBKS, DC, and RR.
Other teams like MI, KKR, RCB, GT, and LSG use different ticketing platforms and are not supported.
Does it work on my phone?
No. Chrome extensions only work on Chrome for desktop — Windows or Mac computers. The extension is not available on iPhone, Android, or any mobile browser.
For the best results, use Chrome on a laptop or desktop connected to a stable WiFi network.
Tips for best results
Get the most
out of Ticket Sniper.
Use WiFi, not mobile data
A WiFi or wired connection has lower latency than mobile data. Even a small delay in your connection can affect your queue position when hundreds of people are competing at the exact same second.
Know the drop time in advance
Check the District event page a day before. They usually show a countdown timer showing when tickets will go on sale. Have the extension armed and ready at least a minute before the drop time.
Keep the tab in the foreground
Some browsers slow down tabs that are running in the background. For the fastest response, keep the District tab visible and active when the drop is expected.
Don't refresh the page manually
Once the sniper is armed, leave the page alone. Refreshing the page while the sniper is running resets it and you'll lose your armed state and attempt count.
